ClementinaCares Wins Award from SF Beautiful

Friday, September 18th, 2009

I’m very proud to announce that our Clementina, Tehama & Gallagher Streets Greening and Maintenance effort was announced by San Francisco Beautiful as one of only 6 award winners citywide, on behalf of the 2009 Beautification Awards Committee.  We will be honored for our neighborhood beautification efforts at this year’s  awards dinner on October 29th.

Congratulations to all of our neighbors and local businesses for your efforts and continued perseverance, especially during these ‘interesting’ times.   It takes a lot to keep plugging away when there is so much uncertainty in the world, but the fact that so many of you are committed says a quite a bit about the momentum established for and potential of our area.

So, great job and let’s hope that with further improvement, it’s the first of many.

Neighborhood Meeting on September 16th at 5:15pm

Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009

Please join us for the next ClementinaCares neighborhood meeting at Vehicle SF (map). The meeting will start at 5:15pm.

This month, we’ll be discussing the work to date on the Janitorial contracts on the 400 blocks of Tehama and Clementina, recent security concerns and our Fall fund raiser as well as a few other issues.

PLEASE pass this along to your neighbors and HOAs to post. And please try to bring at least 1 new person to the meeting.
